Goal: Feed tolerated allergens regularly

  • Feed each of these nut butters 3x a week (ideally more): peanut, almond, hazelnut, sesame, macadamia, pine nut

This is based off of the TIP (Tolerance Induction Program) model that starts with giving patients biosimilar food to their allergen before moving into immunotherapy with the actual allergen. This program is only available in person (located in California) and unless you have CA insurance is largely a cash pay practice with a very significant price tag. So we are just taking the part that we can freely implement, which is giving J foods that are biosimilar to cashew/pistachio prior to starting immunotherapy (and ongoing).
